I purchased the Tim Isaac from a bike shop in Akron, Oh b4 I started working in the biz. It was new, Super Record equipped, and was an absolutely pristine model that had been used as a display at the Columbus Bike Dealers Show in Ohio. It was Dupont Imron Firethorn Red with Yellow Isaac decals on the Headtube and downtube.
I rode that bike longer than I had ridden any bike up to that point and since. It was solid as a rock and had incredible life to it, even after 4 years of racing. I had owned 3 Allegros and a Raleigh Pro b4 I got that Isaac and the Isaac was far and away the best of the bikes I had owned up to that point.
I had it repainted once after I had it ~2yrs, all original decals were reinstalled, and sold it ~3 yrs later when I bought the Bianchi.
