Was there a coppertone Ross Signature (name of bike) once upon a time?

I'm forwarding some thoughts from someone who is not a C. R. List member .

Although he's not a member , he does ride his late 1970's Ron Cooper , and his Raleigh-Of-America era Team 753 , and his 1973-1974 Raleigh Grand Prix , quite a lot . And I liked his view on the subject of what colors are somehow "right" .

By the way , Schwinn Varsity bicycles , in MY mind , are all "Radiant Coppertone" if they are from the 1960's . If they are from the 1970's , they are ( in my mind ) all Sting-Ray colors ; "Opaque Blue" , "Sunset Orange" , "Kool Lemon" .

But the "up-right" bicycles from Schwinn ( Suburban , Collegiate , Speedster ) are ALL always "Campus Green" ( a radiant / flamboyant color ) . At least in my mind they are !
