Schwinn catalogs for the period illustrate the P12, standard Paramount, with 6 inches of chrome on the fork blades, seat and chain stays. The P13, deluxe Paramount, is shown with chrome head lugs and fork crown in addition to 6 inches on blades and stays. A full chrome frame is offered as an option. Obviously, a great deal of flexibility was available. It is quite conceivable that a buyer could have ordered only chrome flats as Les Himel has already verified. How about a Paramount with a chrome seat tube panel? I've never seen one, but it was possible.
