Understood Chuck, I guess this is just an opinion of mine as to what I consider unreliable. If I like to put on miles, those aluminum freewheels are unreliable to me. So if I wrote a Dancing chain book of my own (which I wouldn't and couldn't), like Berto and others...I would probably toss in my opinions as to what I consider unreliable by my definition similar to ideas they choose to call "copies". Here's my point...one man's roof is another man's floor.

All the aluminum freewheels I ever used (Maillard, Campagnolo and SunTour) wore out their cogs very fast. But I wouldn't call that unreliability.
