Hi, I've used JASCO paint remover which is a thick gel that dissolves the thickest and hardest of dried glue in about 1 minutes time. I can strip layers of glue in about 5 minutes from a rim. Cover the logo on the rim otherwise it will be gone. Apply a very thin coat using a brass tooth brush the wipe off after a minute. Just make sure you do it outside and are UPWIND otherwise the fumes will knock you out!! Scott Sweeney Salinas, CA
