Subject: [CR]New pivot bushings on Super Record Rear Derailleur

I wondered if anyone has rebuilt the Campy Nuovo Record or Super Record Rear derailleur bushings/ pins ? Several years ago I bought both the 4 brass bushing ( Campy # 82/A Body Ferrule) and 4 aluminum pins ( Campy #808A Spindle)

I have some ideas as to enlarging the ends of the aluminum pins to retain them in the end pieces of the Body of the unit but have not been entirely pleased with the results on some practice pieces. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Another idea is to use a 3.5mm hollow roll pin ( I saw this used on the one George Mount was using in the Coors Classic in the early 8o's ) any experience with this and suggestions.

Thanks
