5mm helicoil?!? it isn't hard to tap it out to the
next size over (6mm/1mmthread pitch, from 5mm/.8).
you can do the same thing for adjustment barrels, if
you can come up with a barrel with the appropriate
thread (probably easier than locating the 5mm
helicoil..).
oh, and the bonus is that the 6mm bolt and threads it's fitted in will be more difficult to strip/break in the future, though hopefully this isn't the sort of thing that should take more than one run-through/in to learn.
as for the following, it sounds as if it could have
been written by a product-liability-shy 'customer
service (<-I use the term loosely, I assure you)' guy
anywhere, because, unfortunately, they probably have
lawyers over there, too....:
