Roy and all!

As mentioned to the CR List from the past Trad-tex the company itself! This outfit was offered to us about 2 years ago! They contacted us to see if we were interested in taking over the company, within several emails without seeing what his operation was all about!............They thought it was a done deal! Darn they couldn't give me a straight answer about the material that was used, I asked 3 times and this question was avoided! Now if the guys couldn't give me a straight answer on this simple question then these guys are not worth the effort in trying to deal with. I heard through another source that these jerseys are not 100% wool!

Anyway, they wanted to come over to Holland to talk about a so called sale! I told them! Makes no sence for them coming over, I should visit them! Since they are the sellers and we being the potential buyers we should see what their operation was all about. Geeze! Who would be stupid enough to lay down a chunk of $$$ without seeing what your getting yourself into. These guys must of thought we were some ''STUPID DUTCH BUYERS!'' One thing did stand out! They said that they needed to close a sale very soon, sounded like they were in need of a potential quick sale and was in need of some $$$. Within the same breath they said that the BIC jersey was due in sometime soon..............A lot of ????????????????????????????????????????? here?????????

They also said that they had some ''NOS!'' stocks, I said for sure I'd be interested in these stocks. They then said that our buying price would be 40% less than my list prices. Well these prices were not so attactive but I said I need to see what you have? And at this time I am not interested in the company itself!...............Maybe in the future but not right now. This was the last I heard from these people I tried to contact them a few times after about the parts but nothing. Bottom line! The deal that they were attemping to put on the table ''STINKED BIG TIME!''

Guys like this takes up a lot of my time and piles on the extra hours, of which this time could have been better spent on taking care of our good customers.............This is one reason why ''IT'S'' mostly Cecile and myself running the show overhere. Everytime we try to bring on some help who seems to have good intentions always turned out to be ''BAD APPLES!''.........Within days they are already thinking about their own pockets. Knowing that we will be away in a year or so they are already trying to work their way into our business. They see the money and they get ''REAL GREEDY!......................REAL FAST!'' Good example, one guy starts to work for us, buys from one of our sources and thinks he can use our channels to move these goods. I said no! You build your own customer base, your not using our hard work for your gains!....Now he's stuck with this stuff! And it was a big ''CHUNCK OF CHANGE!'' This is the 4th guy who tried pulling this! Yes!.........the 4th!

I think these guys at Trad-tex and others might have been trying to feel out the potential of this Vintage bike bizz! Most European buyers are turned away when wanting to come over to pick up their goods. So far all of our Dutch buyers who insisted on a visit!.....................Did not follow through with their purchase. To many copy cats overhere! They smell the $bread$ and soon after they want in! Well we'll just keep them wondering??!?!.........One day a potential buyer shows up at our home! He says is this Renaissance cycles, we say yes!....................OH! But where is all of your stuff!...................My reply, Aera 51!

So my advice, beware of trying to deal with Trad-tex.

BC Baron C..................And the gang!! Renaissance cycles Eindhoven Holland......................Keeping our feet on the ground.
