I have bought a few modern very high end saddles in recent times and found a couple that do, indeed, combine light weight with comfort. As they are so off topic, I will gladly give anyone my riding impressions... if you would like them, drop me a line. Oddly enough the last three saddles I have acquired have been older ones, though.
