Hi Dave, I think the Tipo hubs were introduced with Catalogue #17 in 1974 with straight QRs. Curved QRs came about in 1978 (C.P.S.C.). By the early 70s, Frejus has changed to the more normal style binder on their pro frames. I don't know when they "quit" making them with the collar, but by the 70s, the only frames I recall still using them were the junky cheap ones with stamped drop outs. I think they were using up the old style seat lugs, probably still around in great numbers. Stevan
