Regina Oro chains and freewheels are steel plated with brass and the brass plating gets tarnished even with being coated in oil.

If you want your Oro to be "Oro" (gold) what you have to do is polish the brass with something like Brasso, Wenol or Simichrome polish. Before everyone starts jumping to conclusions here... I personally only do this if I'm going to be showing a bike.
