So , because of the several mentions on the C. R. List , I went looking to see what was available on Amazon.com ( U.S.A. site ) , in books , VHS video , or DVD , about , "Six Day Racing" .
Not much - actually nothing - no surprise .
Haven't tried the Amazon.com U.K. site .
But , I did find two fairly wonderful things :
1.) "Six Years After D-Day : Cycling Through Europe" by Marie Bennett Alsmeyer "In 1950 a young couple quit their jobs in Texas and went on a 1,200 mile bicycle tour through Europe: based on their notes and diary entries, this packs in details of post-war western Europe"
2.) An original 1925 program , for the 1925 World Championship 6 Day Races , held in Madison Square Garden , New York , New York , U.S.A .

Note - I'm buying a copy of the book . And somebody from the list needs to buy the original 1925 program , and either frame it ( archivally ) , or at least seal it away in a Zip-Lock bag with all the air sucked out of it !
