I just received my copy of the Emilio Bozzi catalog from Chuck/Velo-Retro and this item is a gem! The catalog is circa 1951-52, if I am not mistaken, and it's full of wonderful pictures of just about every damn bicycle component you could imagine from that era. Remember the discussion related to Universal brakes among CR members last month? Well, there are multiple sets of Universal brakes shown over multiple pages, showing all different caliper configurations etc. The Campy Corsa and Campy Parix-Roubaix are show in detail, with all separate parts listed for repair/replacement. And the quality of this reprint is the best that I've seen in the 8-10 reprints that I've received from Chuck over the past two years or so. No, I'm not working on commission here, but I did just pick up a '46 Legnano w/Cambio Corsa and this reprint is going to be extremely beneficial in the restoration of this bike. I would highly recommend this reprint to anyone on the CR list w/an interest in bikes of this era, as the information contained within is almost nonexistent anywhere else. And a special tip of the hat to Steve Maasland, who was the owner of the original catalog and worked a deal w/Chuck to allow this reprint.
