"kauzo" is Dr. Akihiko Amaki, a dentist in Tokyo I believe. Quite an avid collector, and a near-legendary eBayer willing to pay what seems like very large sums to us for his parts purchases. However, as Ken Toda pointed out just the other day IIRC, many of these "high-priced" goods often get marked up again by brokers and re-sold to those who perhaps don't have English-language skills or eBay access, so Dr. Amaki is actually "saving" money, if you will.... It's also a "bragging rights" thing, I would imagine....
