Subject: [CR]O.M.A.S. Cranks made by SR..?

Hi boys and girls,

Do any of you know of a relationship between O.M.A.S. and SR? I just heard from a gentleman claiming that he used to work at SR in Tokyo, and that O.M.A.S. cranks were made there by SR.... Might this be true? In comparing SR Royal cranks to O.M.A.S., they look identical to each other except for the logo. Here are the SR cranks on eBay:

and here the O.M.A.S. (same seller):

Is it just that the SR and O.M.A.S. look alike, and they're both nice copies of the Campagnolo? Anyone know if other O.M.A.S. bits could have been made by SR? Anyone (besides me) at all curious? Yes, I've searched the archives for this one, and found nothing with both O.M.A.S. & SR in the same message...
