Subject: [CR]Re: Brown Bros catalogue pages at Wallingford Bikes

As Scott Goldsmith has pointed out, Bill Laine has put some scans from Brown Bros catalogues (from the CDs he bought from me last year, if I'm not mistaken) online. This is a great idea and I wish more people were able to do the same to "spread the word".

I can't remember what I was selling the 1939 and 1952 Brown Bros CDs for last year but it was more than I would have liked because a lot of the cash had to go to my photographer pal who had to buy a CD writer just for the job.

Anyway, I have to get some copies of the CDs made again-by my brother this time who dosn't charge!-for a few people. If anyone else want copies, please email me for details and I'll get a batch made at the one time. They're well worth having as there is about 700 pages between them covering all sorts of British and some foreign parts.

How about $9 per CD-there's one for 1939 and another for 1952-including postage? After PayPal charges and material costs, that will leave me with enough for a pint of Guinness-which is a good deal by my reckoning. Alternatively, I might save up for a bottle of Glen Livet-I'm fed up spending money on bikes!

Cheers,

Bruce In dreich, damp, dark and depressing Dundee, Scotland
