Chris, you don't say if you are looking for inner ring, outer ring, or both. The mod 49 inner rings are 122mm bolt circle, and are the same ones used for mod 93, 105 and many other Stronglight models. If you can't find a mod 49 outer ring, you can use TA Cyclotourist rings which are still manufactured. The only catch is, you'll have to use a TA inner ring as well, as the bolt circle of the inner TA rings, which like the Stronglight mod 49, bolt to the outer ring, is smaller than the mod 49 inner circle. I suspect a lot of bikes in the classic era had mod 49 arms with TA rings, as TA rings were widely available, and had a wide selection of ring sizes.

Does anyone have, or know where I can find chainrings for the Stronglight 49 D Crank. I've been looking for a long time, I think it could be a futile search.
