Yes, I think that is Alfa, and it does look a bit like the old Simplex rings for cottered cranks. I thought maybe Steven was referring to the drilled out 2000 chainrings which may resemble some of the drilled later Stronglight rings. Zeus made some interesting cranks, including the Competition, which has the 5-pin small outer bolt circle ala TA, Stronglight mod 49, and many others. This would have allowed very small outer rings, but the inner circle was 151 like the old Campy record, so the smallest inner ring was 45T. Strange design. If I ever mount my Competition on a bike, I'll probably mount TA rings for actual riding, and save the original Zeus rings for display.
