I was wondering about this one recently. I'm personally not bothered either way, but does listing auction items technically break this rule, since there's not an established price (effectively ends up being best offer)? I'd rather see the auctions made available, since some interesting stuff often comes up. I suppose using the subject line to identify it as an auction, and even indicating the item itself, offers the delete key option for those not interested.
