Oops, the frame,
Reynolds 531 main tubes and stays, stickers a little mangled, but I can read stays, and tubes.

Well, I picked up a Jean Brun today, I was talking about it a few weeks back, I think I inquired here and at classicrendezvous.
I received two or three informative responses as to the provenance of my bike as there was nothing about that particular type of bike on the 'net anywhere I could find.
pics are here.

It has a pat80 NR rear and (I assume) a NR front derailleur too.
Gran Comp (?) brakes, I assume they are a Weinmann product as they have Weinmann pads...
Record hubs built up to never used MA40's, with new tires (Michelin Sports, with tan sidewalls, natch)
Shimano 600 headset.
SR Royal crankset.
Nothing super exotic
A bit of rust here and there.
But lovely long point lugs with cutouts and contrast paint.
Neat seatstay arrangement, at least to my eyes. Is this a 'fastback' seatstay arrangement?
Beautiful 3ttt stem/bar combo,
the stem is really svelte.
Fits me very well
Nice chromed fork crown.
Gonna get a prettier saddle, touch up the rust spots and ride it around.
Oh, 6 spd in the back, with 42/52 front.
I'm excited, my first 'real' vintage bike
I got a pretty good deal too (I think.)
