Even a blind pig finds some corn... Stumbled upon a Goodwill store in my newly adopted town, and of course, had to check it out. Came up with a (slightly out of CR range) Bianchi Campione D'Italia. I suspect it is about 1988, and would like some list help in year ID. Some parts I am not familiar with, so any help in ID of this group is welcome. I'll list the parts here, and if considered off-topic, contact me off-list. Serial No. 4821 (on BB shell bottom) Columbus CROMOR, "Tubi Speciali Rinforzati" Fork is Columbus "foderi" w/ sloping fork crown. Nice long point lugs. Road race angles, about 56 cm, but not yet measured. Headset, pedals, and crank are marked Ofmega. Derails and hubs marked Quattro. Shifters are indexed, Suntour Accushift, but also have Quattro on them. 7 spd freewheel. Brakes are short reach Modolo, and also marked Quattro. Hoods and levers are Modolo. Hubs are 36h, laced to Ambrosio 19 Extra "elite" Rims. Stem is engraved Bianchi, and the extention has flat top and sides w/ beveled edges. Dark gray. Seatpost is Gipiemme. Handlebars are ITM mod.mondial, with padded (leather?)tape. Everything is celeste (sp?)even the cables, bottle and cage, tape, toe straps, and saddle. Pretty clean overall, but some bad abrasion on the right fork blade. Nice bike for $19.91 + tax. Oh, and there was 40 cents, a tube and 3 tire levers in the small Kirkland seat bag, and a Zefal HP pump to boot. Thanks for the info help.
