Well, yes, there are several of us on the list, but then...

No, Puky doesn´t mean a thing. It´s just an invented brand name, as far as I know. Pretty frequent kid´s bikes around here. I must say, however, that I´m really proud of those marketing people at the firm which makes Puky bikes, they do have some courage exporting the name to the US along with the bikes.

My courage nearly failed me some years ago when I sold a kiddies´ bike of selfsame brand to one of the numerous British Forces members who are stationed here in Osnabrueck. I only thought, "right, this here transaction in my basement may pass with him as coincidental, but, please, god, don´t let him ask in the LBS." You know, this was during the cold war, and he was there to protect us, wasn´t he? Would he want to protect us from the REDS after such a thing? Doesn´t bear thinking of the consequences.

Yours, Toni (my son was violently sick today although he rides the right brand) Theilmeier, Osnabrueck, Germany.
