Thanks, Steven, for going right to the source for the answers, which I find very interesting. While I had serious doubts about the frame being legit, I wasn't willing to bet a lot on it (which I think I posted to someone off-list). I've seen or heard of too many one-off oddities to feel too sure about anything in this weenie-world. Besides the odd reinforcing tubes, one of the things that formed my opinion (like Brian's) was the drop-out/stay treatment. Didn't look like any De Rosa I've seen, and I have one in the basement and some good pix of another one I restored some years ago. I've loaded some pix of that resto project so you can do your own comparison. The details, in general, on the TT frame in question just seem all wrong to me. Just goes to show you never can tell!
