<< Group--- I would like to offer the following items for sale to the CR group prior to going the auction route. Please contact me off line at nelsmiller@msn.com if you are interested in anything. Jpegs are available of everything....
1965 RAPHAEL GEMINIANI --24" c/t This bike belongs to a gentleman here in Seattle who purchased it new in 1965. It is absolutely beautiful. Nervex lugs, 531 tubing, full Campag gruppo with Mafac competition brakes, sew-ups, Ideale saddle. He changed the original bars and stem to Cinelli. The paint is the RG blue that leans toward green (almost like one of the many Celestes) He would like to get $1000 for the bike. I have some not-so-good jpegs of it and can put you into direct contact with the owner, should you be interested.
REAR WHEEL-- 36 hole Fiamme Ergal (rectangular label) tubular rim mounted on some kind of a very well constructed, very smooth, cartridge bearing hub with no marking whatsoever. Someone said it might be a Hi-E? About 122 mm spacing, no skewer---- jpegs available. $30
GALLI ALLOY HEADSET with tapered roller bearings -- English threads-- used, nice condition $20
PHIL WOOD BOTTOM BRACKET-- very smooth, French threaded -- 125 mm axle length-- $40
PAIR SUNTOUR BAR END SHIFTERS --With red rubber Campag covers--- this is the shifter that clicks going in one direction and is quiet going the other (I know a lot about them!) $15
CAMPAG LOW FLANGE RECORD FRONT HUB-- Some spoke marks, very nice looking, turns smoothly, NO skewer, 36 hole--- $25
PAIR CAMPAGNOLO BAR END SHIFTERS no rubber covers $22
PAIR TIPO HUBS English thread, with straight skewers-- turn smoothly, I would re-bearing and re-grease, will polish up quite nicely. 36/36 $65 pair
NOS TTT STEM 95 mm -- This one has a little rubber cover over the stem tightening bolt-- beautiful, and may be pushing the CR date limits..... $18
RACELITE HIGH FLANGE REAR HUB Broken flange on one side, good for parts only, paper weight, or use as an example of what you can get on a "good operating condition" bike on Ebay! $FREE
CAMPAGNOLO 53 TOOTH CHAINRING--OLD BOLT PATTERN I'd give it a C+ some noticeable wear on the teeth-- a marked up spot that the crank arm will cover if it doesn't polish out.. $20
WANTED / WANTED / WANTED / WANTED
LEGNANO HEADBADGE--- the funny one with the knight with his sword and the big hollow spaces..................
Thanks for looking--- Cheers--Nelson Miller-- Seattle-- Who has been on a "no CR mail" status vacation for a bit............ :-) >>
