Hi Wayne:
26.4 or 26.6 mm is a typical post size for Metric-diameter butted 531 tubing and some straight-gauge Imperial tubes - probably either a butted Metric 531 (or other tubing brand) frame, or a straight-gauge frame of some sort (my Santana with Columbus "Tandem Special" tubing takes a 26.6 post as well, and I think it is straight-gauge. It's mighty stiff and responsive!).
