Long, long ago before the internet and ebay (10 years ago)an LBS, Jack's Bicycle Center, here in Bellingham had a BIG box full of dozens of assorted Unicanitor old logo saddles, your choice $12. I put one on my Bartali and wore it out, and bought another for the day I restore my Cinelli. I still wonder what became of all the other saddles in the box. Jack says they all sold eventually. Perhaps today such a thing wouldn't happen anymore but a quick check of your LBSs might prove otherwise. I also recall when I went to buy a set of globe logo Campy brake hoods- he had a huge stack of them in a display case- and they all disintigrated in his hands as he went to pull them out. Ouch! I think he still has a set of Zeus sidepulls in the box, but they aren't right for any of my bikes.

God I wish I'd bought the whole box of Unicanitors and sold them on Ebay for $70 a pop...

Sigh, Kurt Sperry in Wet Wet Wet Bellingham WA
