I am a little slow to respond to this thread, but I was looking for a early 1970's flyer on Mondia I have. These were given to Authorized dealers to give out to potential customers. This flyer shows and is specificationed as MaFac centerpull brakes, with frames that have " 20 Beautiful color selections including many blended varieties". A nice Color 1 page ad. Another article from the same era is about Cinelli "Special Corsa" priced at $495.00 "Columbus tubing through out" with universal side pulls and campagnolo side pulls for a $50.00 option. The Cinelli "Corsa-B" at $ 385.00 with universal sidepulls and campy gran sport derailuers,Nisi rims etc. The Cinelli "Supercorsa" was made to order at $825.00 with Reynolds Tubing and top line campy parts. Also listed were the Cresent "Pepita Special 320" listed at $400-425.00 with Campy sidepulls, Fiorelli Sprint1 "Professional" at $450.00 which apparently was comparable in this trade article to the Atala Record at $400.00with the Fiorelli having a better finish. The Chiorda "Professional" Model 1050 at $500.00 with campy sidepulls and " recessed allen cinelli stem and bars making it flat with no hex nut protrusion" So that is what my flyers and articles stated. The Later article came from a magazine, possibly "Bicycling". Craig Griffith San Luis Obispo, Ca.
