Subject: [CR]Gran Sport Track Pedals....correct Strap routing

Picked up a pair of Gran Sport Track Pedals at Larz last year. The "outer" part of the body has no rectangular hole to route the strap through. The "inner" does. I currently have the strap routed underneath the outer pedal/cage attachment point, and secured with a zip tie, but is there a better way?

Also, anyone know the likely hubs that might have been used on an Armstrong Pathracer, 1955/56.....I am guessing BSA??

Thanks
