My, the Supers are coming out to play this week. ;>
This is a nice frame with a couple of odd graphics anomalies. The graphic on the top-tube was almost surely added by someone at a later date, as was the flower-surrounded-by-laurel-wreath graphic on the down-tube. It's actually a bit of a giggle, because as far as I know that flower/wreath graphic never appeared with the flower/world-colors-rainbow badge you can see on the seat tube and head-tube. Those are two separate badges from two different periods...the flower/wreath badge appeared on seat-tubes to about 1975, and that was it, I think...and it never showed up on the dt like that.
Even weirder, the more modern flower/rainbow badge appears in between Colnago-world-bands that disappeared about 5 years before that flower/rainbow badge ever showed up, far as I know...if that was a factory job, I can just knock all my notions of dating Colnagos by graphics into a cocked hat...of course, it's possible it's a repaint, although the seller does not mention any such thing. I could imagine this kind of farrago of decals on a repaint.. or some idiosyncratic custom-order maybe. I've never seen a Colnago frame that looked like this before, in any event.
Whatever the exact case, clearly someone felt their Super just didn't have enough decoration on it.
