Hey Mark !!!!

This is Raoul Delmare writing to you , from Marysville Kansas .

You may recall that my old cycling buddy Bruce & I visited with you at your shop . Could it have been as long ago as almost a year ?? Bruce lives over in South Bend , so it was handy for me to go visit him and his wife and son , then head over your way . Since Chicago is right next door to South Bend , Bruce and I came over to pick up that couple of bicycles I'd bought from you .

Both Bruce and I were INCREDIBLY impressed with your collection . We can't say thank you enough !

Anyway , I'm a list-member of :

The Classic Rendezvous Mailing List

This is the creation of Dale Brown . It's a wonderful resource , and a great bunch of folks !

Recently , two ideas have been kicked around on the list , either one of which should have made me think of YOU instantly ! But it wasn't until someone else mentioned your name that the little light-bulb came on over my head .

There's been discussion of the POSSIBILITY of one of those high-quality glossy-paper calendars , devoted to vintage light-weight bicycles , organized by the list-members , perhaps for the 2005 calendar year .

Also , there has been a bit of discussion about the fact that there are bicycle shows , and bicycle swap-meets , in many parts of the country . But , there seems to be none in the general Chicago-land area .

I'm curious to know if either one of these ideas stirs up any interest from your direction ?

And thanks again for the bicycles !

Best wishes ,
Raoul
Kansas
