A friend of mine has one of these, either gold-plated, or gold-chrome-plated or some such.
I looked it over closely and I thought it was rather crude..sort-of like a badly-made Colnago from the early-80s...of which I've seen a few, and some of which are truly awful, as has been observed here previously.
The Chesini looks to me like a high-volume production frame masquerading as a low-production, custom frame. It might not have been a high-volume item, but the one I've seen wasn't very attractive on close examination.
Just my opinion.
