My friend Tom has dropped off his Olmo at Ed Litton's shop for a restovation. (Hi Ed!) He's looking for the period-correct decals - or even the artwork or scans or photos for the period-correct decals - for his bike. Here's what he wrote me:
You mentioned you might know of a group of enthusiast that might be able to help me track down some decals to buy or copy during the restoration of my Olmo bike.
I found this one on ebay:
Mine must be the one made before this one. Mine is a Competition but it doesn't have a braze on front derailleur and also has a cut out bottom bracket. My decals don't have the oval white backing. I particularly liked the fact that mine said OLMO down the back of the seat tube. I remember the quote "so the competition can see what you are riding". To bad the competition was never back there to see it.

He is also looking for a NOS Enlish-thread Super Record headset.
Can any of you help Tom? His email is zippy@tomquinn.com.
Thanks!
