Subject: [CR]Trexlertown Report

Trexlertown, Fall 2003...started out as a beautiful day with temps in the lower 70s, sunny with barely a cloud in the sky...then the alarm clock went off and I awoke to reality. Dreary, wet, wetter, wettest, and cold (zimno). I headed over to the swap with fellow CR member Larry O and another new addition to the swap scavenging crew, Bruce. Staggering in the gates with my boxes of junk to unload upon the hoards, I felt I did pretty good considering the amount of sleep I had going into the swap. I am forwarding a fellow CR members email address to the apnea clinic on monday. I didn't even try and score anything this time around. I picked up a couple nice bottle cages from fellow CR member Tom Dalton that will look quite nice upon my Razesa. I talked with Ray Hominski, Steven, Roy, Pete, Sanford bros....many CR members!! Anyone at the Sleep Inn the night before would have gotten caught up at the desk for any number of hours discussing classic bikes and parts and components as I am a I-BoB member staked out a space at the counter for several hours talking shop. Saw some nice bikes around, I missed Harvey Sachs and Charlie Young...saw the Moseman and track wheels Charlie picked up...nice. Saw the nice assortment of goodies Larry Black brough to peruse through. Enjoyed the looks upon many peoples faces as they stared at Steven's bikes with baffled looks. I know I probably missed more than a few people from the CR list and BOB list that I ran across, forgive me...I will probably remember when my brain defrosts.
