Hey you folks, isn't it amazing that we have guys like Jamie and Peter Johnson (others?) in our little group that can just machine an obscure and essential part like this? I am knocked out at the ability these guys have to just go back in the shop and knock out an odd part! Shades of the Wright brothers.. "Need a pedal spindle? OK, stop back tomorrow and I will have it made!" Thanks Jamie! >>

Yeah, this is definitely cool. Hey, I have a question... several months ago, a very delighted collector, I forgot who, posted some pics of a beautifully restored Bianchi (Cambio equipped, I believe), but sadly, one of the chainring bolts had gotten misplaced by the mechanic (maybe painter?). It was one of those unusual bolts with the dished out head and blue paint fill. Anyway, if the owner is out there, the above thread made me wonder, did you ever find the missing bolt to complete your otherwise pristine restoration?

And if not, sounds like here's somebody who can make you a pretty good substitute...
