To which Chuck responded:

SL pedals have aluminum cages and steel spindles. SR pedals have aluminum cages and titanium spindles. ALL Super Record pedals have ti spindles!

To which I would like to add that the price difference, according to the 1985 Italian price list that I have:

Lit 191,895 for the Super Record and Lit 106,136 for the superleggeri and Lit 80,166 for the Record pedals.
