Here's Mike Edgerton's response...
The original Team Champions were exact replica's of Ocana's as far as layout, eylets etc. They could be ordered with different angles, most of us took them to be the same as his (and why not, he was the man that year). The later models that I saw didn't have eyelets either. Give me your mailing address I can send a newspaper article that has a picture of mine up on a stand (assuming I can find it). The rake on the front fork doesn't look right on this but it has been a few years.

All this talk of chrome stays brings out the crow in me (my wife says I collect shiny things). I think I'll go home and polish some old bikes.
