The Main d'Or bikes were sold in the US by Western
STates Imports, aka Diamondback, who at the time
wholesaled the Centurion bike brand. They were made
by Kessels in Belgium. I rode one a few times--a
friend who fits bikes almost identically to me used to
own one. It was a steep angled, very quick steering
bike not very forgiving of bad pavement or a wandering
mind. These were sold @1975.
