This may be of slight interest regarding Mario Confente. I've learned in the last 6 months that Mario was building bikes on the Monterey Peninsula near Pebble Beach/Pacific Grove when he died and was well known by Hector Chavez of Winning Wheels bike shop in Pacific Grove. I'm not sure where he was buried. Scott Sweeney Salinas, CA
