The Rino Suntour copy derailleur was not only a copy, it was a copy while Suntour still had patent exclusivity. Like any copier of Suntour, they were faced with legal action and relented. Earlier, Lambert did the same. Anyone know of other slant pantograph infringers? Campy did a good job of designing around the patent with the Croce.
