Subject: [CR]snapped campagnolo nuovo record crank!

interesting bike came in for repair last week,a orginal Raleigh "team professional" 531 in TI-Raleigh colours with Campagnolo Super Record groupset.Lovely! Only problem was that the right-hand Campag crank had snapped completly near the spider! Never seen this before,at closer look noticed that there was a stress mark where the Campagnolo logo was engraved onto the crank arm. Luckily the rider was not travelling at speed when accident happened, and also luckily I had a spare set of Campagnolo Nuovo/super record cranks at home which I sold to the customer for £60.00,he was well pleased as it kept the machine "period". Anybody out there have similar experiences with Campag cranks? Well, must get back to work, happy riding.
