We got together at our usual Belgian bar on Sunday and there was the smallest group yet, but it was still a pretty good day. A new person, Marcus Helman joined us and was a great addition and he found a stem he was looking for and sold another. We had Leonard Bulger and his family and he was his usual super knowledgeable self. The guy is a storehouse of information on components! We are always impressed by the breadth and depth of his knowledge. The Detroit Bicycle Mafia was well represented by its' Cappo, Ed Kasper, who spun great stories about his racing back in the day. Jimmy Cue brought his stunning Masi with many pantographed and cut out components on it. Mark Agree held a impromptu seminar on Campy brake levers in the parking lot and I think everyone bought or sold some neat stuff. I came away with new gloves, and a stem I needed. Ed had some really neat stuff at great prices, including a dark blue never built Colnago built frame in 60 cm that really should be bought by someone at the nearly give-away price he had on it. Drop him a line If you need a lovely Italian frame in that large size...it's a steal!
We all went away smiling and wishing more of you folks could have been there. Maybe next time?
