This is a strange request for a little help .
Perhaps three weeks ago ( approximately ) , late one night , I saw an eBay auction which I MEANT to go back and do something about . There were perhaps 4 or 5 days left on that auction . The hour was late . I was more tired than I realized . I didn't think about that auction again until almost a week later . And by then of course , the auction was over and gone .
Did anyone record that auction number ? Does anyone know the seller ? I'd like to know the price for which those Campagnolo cranks sold . They were perfect for me . I was a fool for forgetting about them .
If I recall everything correctly , it was a "chain-set" , and not a "crank-set" , meaning that there was no bottom bracket .
Campagnolo .
151 mm bolt circle diameter
Raised bosses around the pedal holes
But the pedal holes were open on both sides , NOT capped on the inside
Two chainrings , both fairly large , perhaps 50 & 49 , one ring was thought to be N.O.S.
Full set of 5 chainring nuts and bolts , early , with what the seller perhaps called "different" lettering
Can't recall if it came with dust-caps
It was exactly what I need , for my very latest "project" , which actually doesn't need much . About all the bicycle needs is just exactly those parts ! I already have a 44 tooth chainring waiting for such a crankset , which is the smallest size chainring the 151 mm bolt circle diameter can accept . The 44 t. ring I have waiting is one of the reproductions from Bicycle Classics .
I was a fool for not remembering until too many days later . I'd like to know if it sold for a huge expensive ugly price , and I can just forget about it . Or , if it sold for a cheap price , and I should really-really kick myself hard for losing my chance .
And , does anybody have something similar which they'd like to sell for a fairly reasonable price ?
