Subject: [CR]bottom bracket height question

Is there such a thing as a "normal" bottom bracket height? I have a bike that looks "odd" to me, but I don't know whether it's the angle of the toptube and downtube going into the headtube, or it's the bottom bracket height that makes it appear so, or possibly neither, and my eyes really have gone bad.

The seattube measures 22.5 inches center to top, the toptube measures 58 cc, and the bottom bracket height, measured from a fairly level floor with 700 cm wheels and 25 mm tires to the center of the bottom bracket, is ~10 inches. The bike is called a Braysher, and is pretty spiffy--IMHO--but comparing it others I have of a touring variety, this height seems high, but I don't know, and that's why I'm asking if others do know.

Thank you.

Cheers.
