I find it rather...interesting that the seller quotes extensively from "The Custom Bicycle" on Pogliaghi...but the f/f in question very likely was made some years after Sante had retired--heck, maybe even after he had died.

Does this not seem just a tad deceptive? I'm not necessarily accusing the seller of mendacity...but this seller seems knowledgeable enough, from his previous offerings, that he would know this f/f dates from after Pogliaghi's sale of his name to others. Seems to me an uninformed buyer could buy this thinking they were getting one kind of thing, when, in fact, they were getting something else.

Tricky business, in any case.
