Yes, and Chesini celebrated their 75th anniversary in 2000.

Montrose Bike Shop had a bunch of pretty fancy Chesinis in the early 1980s. Lots of chrome and candy paint jobs with the headtube engraved with the Chesini logo.

I imagine that Bob Hansing, who owned Montrose and also Euro-Asia Imports, brought into the country himself the ones that he sold.
