The Saturday swap in Charlotte was a fun outing. Roman Stankus and I drove in from Atlanta to pick up a couple of prized steel steeds refinished by the Listmaster and also to check out the swap. The swap meet was nicely represented by CR members Ken Toda, Scott Ramsey, Peter Gilbert, the guys from First Flight and of course the previously mentioned Mr Brown.
The wares included quite a number of nice lugged steel beauties for sale including an early Masi GC [First Flight] and a very nice Melton[Peter Gilbert]. A CR consortium managed a power purchase to purge the supply of Vittoria gum walled tubulars available from one vendor.
The listmaster purchased an early Dale Brown crafted track bike disguised with Pinarello decals.
It's always fun to hang out with bike minded folks.
