It was our final club run of the season today and now thankfully the serious drinking can officially start. On this run there was a Hetchin's that has been around the "Fen Country" for a few years now, I use to see it back in the early 70's when I use to race. The owner thinks that it was built in 1947 its a curly with Clement type road ends minus the gear hanger. Frame number is in unusual place under the BB shell, starts with a 9 ends in 35 all a bit indistinct. Also stamped on the underside of shell is Hetchin's. The lug pattern is very like Paris TdeF or Maclean's Apollo any ideas. Have asked all the UK Hetchin's experts and Flash. Still no luck in identifying. They might know but have not't replied back yet. If anyone want's a go at this will send pictures.

Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
