I don't know how anything could be more ON topic. If his loss is comfirmed, maybe you could post his frame size and what he rides. Maybe there's a reason I have frames that I'll never build up and boxes of components and parts that just sit on the shelves.

This maybe be slightly off topic, but I feel it is pertinent to the list.
I just heard today from a reliable source (local shop owner), but have not corraborated this:
Eddie B, who has lived in San Diego for a number of years, had his house burn down in the recent fires we have had here. He survived, but lost his home and all his cycling memorabilia.
I am sure there will be more info, a fund has been started, but right now I know not much more. Perhaps other list members know more, perhaps we can pool Eddie B stuff to help rebuild his collection.
