"Roll Britannia" has a data base started for members to list their collection in some detail. Not a lot of imput yet but it's a useful data base if only to get some sense of serial numbers etc. Of course this is limited to British made bikes... what other kinds are there?

One useful offshoot of such a listing is to get a sense of components thought to be original to the machine. This aids in the old "catalogue specs" vs. reality debates.

Anyway, you might want to check out the Database in RB and see if this something that might be expanded upon elsewhere for all bicycles.
