Subject: [CR]FS: Gardin frameset 59cm

Close to topic (mid-late 80's) Gardin lugged frameset. 126mm OLD 27.2mm post size 59cm c-c (60.5cm c-t) 57.5cm top tube 74' seat angle (possibly 73.75) 73.5' head angle 41.5cm chainstays (at most rearward)

Columbus-tubed (SL?), plain medium-point lugs. Gipiemme rear drops. English BB threading. Non-stock SR Litage fork. Workmanship better than typical production bike, but not to custom standards. Metalic blue to white fade paint. Frame is solid and quite clean inside. Outside cosmetics are good to ok. No dings or physical damage, but a few surface rust spots. Should clean with rubbing compound and some spare time. Many nicks on RH chainstay. Decals are not cleared over, and are rough in spots.

Bike had the RD-in-spokes fracus. I straightened drop and hanger (checked via Campy H tools and hanger gauge), cleaned up, and chased drop adjuster screw hole. Paint is rough in area, but mechanically sound.

I purchased bike for Campy parts. Frame is too small for me. Best as-is for sporty off-season road bike or SS. Worth moderate resoration. Frame is stripped of all parts. $90 frame/fork only, plus actual shipping. E-mail for jpegs or information.
